Tonight is the CD release show for David McGhee‘s “Black Bear River,” that we designed a few months ago. Here’s a poster I created for the show. When making the artwork for the CD, we thought it would be too obvious to actually include the bear, but with the poster, David was dying to see a bear incorporated into the artwork. And it doesn’t take too much convincing for me to use bear imagery.

Looking forward to checking out some upcoming talent at The Underground in Cincinnati, Ohio this Saturday, September 19 . I will be on a panel of judges helping decide who will win $10,000 in cash towards making their “rockstar dreams” come true…not too shabby if you ask me?! I also will be judging on October 17th as this is a 6 week competition. Please be sure to check out the event if you’re close to the Nati, and stop by our table and chat. Last night we were very pleased with the turnout at our Art Opening at Revival. If you couldn’t make it, below are are a few photos, and please click HERE to view more photos of the event. We’re very thankful for Adam at Revival, and all that he did to help us bring this show together. Seriously, look at our logo on the windows, shirt and axe’d log on display in the window, and the point of purchase display we put together for our new t-shirts. We’re all really proud of how everything turned out.

We are very pleased to announce that we will be displaying and selling work at Revival, one of our favorite boutiques in Akron’s Highland Square. We will be selling illustration-based design, that is re-purposed for wide-format prints, as well as several new t-shirts, including one collaborative shirt with Revivalist.

The opening is on February 13th, and the work will be on display until sometime in March. If you can make the opening, we would love to see you there. Otherwise, please stop in and check out our work while it is on display.

If you’re in the area, good friends Cool Hand Luke have a show coming up in Northeastern Ohio. The original show got canceled, so this is really last minute, and we set it up ourselves at a nearby church. So please, if you can, come out! It’s cheap ($5) and it will be over in time to get a good nights sleep before work/school the next morning.
