Our work, first time being Tattooed

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

A nice fellow named James just sent me this photo of his newly decorated right arm. It’s a piece from the work we did for The Winston Jazz Routine‘s “Sospiri.” He also asked me to possibly send him some other pieces of the work to go along with it. We’ve had a few requests for images to use as tattoo’s, but as far as I know, this is the first one to actually be stuck under someone’s skin (so to speak.) He just got it the other day, so in this photo it is still in the oozy-dripping-bloody-swelled-up stage. Can’t wait to see it bright and healed.

Speak of The Winston Jazz Routine, Nathan has recently killed the moniker, and is now making music under his given name, Nathan Phillips. And if you are in the Northern Ohio area, he has a show tomorrow (Sunday) evening, in Bellville, Ohio, with Julie Lee, and long time friend (and client) Aaron Roche, on their tour via Calvin’s Festival of Faith and Music.

Say Ooh <3′s Three Bears <3′s Say Ooh

Saturday, March 28th, 2009

I recently worked up a company-to-company trade with my dear Nashville friend, Colleen, aka Say Ooh. She makes lovely hair accessories, as well as a few other fun things, all available for purchase on her Etsy. We worked up a Three Bears to Say Ooh trade via the USPS, and here’s what came as a result. We sent Collie one of our Ohio T-Shirts, for her to represent the midwest, down there in Tennessee (insert Southern Drawl). And in exchange she sent my girlfriend and I custom matching “Boyfriend and Girlfriend Rooster” hair-clips. Mine custom made distinctively to compliment the rat-tail I’ve been sporting lately. When checking out her website and Etsy Store, also be sure to also check out the Say Ooh Blog.

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

This weekend, Adam from Revival(ist) and I spent 15ish + hours printing our collaborative shirts, to be unveiled and for sale on Friday. See if you can’t sneak yourself a peak of it (or part of it) in these photos. Then come see the final product on Friday!

A taste of goodies to come.

I just wanted to share a small snippet of one of our new shirt designs that I worked on. I think we’re all pretty excited about the work that will be appearing and available for sale at our show at Revival. We hope you’re excited too!
